The 2024 International Conference on Sensing and Imaging ICSI 2024 is being held in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, China from August 23 to 27, 2024. The organizers of this conference include the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the First Affiliated Hospital of USTC, and Sensing and Imaging journal. Professor Feng Wu, Vice President of the University of Science and Technology of China, and Hongbin Han, Dean of the Institute of Medical Technology at Peking University Health Science Center, served as the general chairmen of this conference. Professor Ming Jiang from Peking University and Professor Nathan Ida from the University of Akron served as co-chairs, while Professor Zhaotian Zhang, former executive deputy director of the Information Science Department at the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), served as honorary chairman.
ICSI 2018 was held on October 15-17, 2018, in city of Liuzhou, a beautiful city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), China Computer Federation (CCF) and the Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST) are the primary sponsors of ICSI 2018. Prof. S. Li, the President of GXUST, is the general chair for this conference. Prof. M. Jiang at PKU is the Co-Chairs for this conference. The Academic Committee consists of leading scientists and experts worldwide in the fields of Sensing.
The third conference in this series, the ICSI 2017 was held on June 5-8, 2017 in Chengdu city, Sichuan province, China. National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), China Computer Federation (CCF) and the Chengdu University of Information Technology (CUIT) sponsored of ICSI 2017. Prof. J. Zhou, the President of CUIT, was the chair for this conference. Prof. N. Ida, the chief editor of Sensing and Imaging and Prof. M. Jiang at PKU were the Vice Chairs for this conference.
The second conference in this series, the ICSI 2016 was held on July 25-28, 2016 in Taiyuan city, Shanxi province, China. Prof. Y. Han at North University of China was the chair for this conference. Prof. M. Jiang at PKU was the Vice Chair for this conference.
As the first conference in this series, the ICSI 2015 was held on August 15- 18, 2015 in Chifeng city, Inner Mongolia, China. This conference was sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, SOA the First Institute of Oceanography, Beijing Information Science and Technology University, as well as the Affiliated Hospital of Chifeng University (local organizer). Over the four-day sessions, the participants from the United States, Germany and China gave numerous platform talks and extensively discussed the current hot topics on Sensing and Imaging, including Imaging Reconstruction, Image Restoration, Image Fusion, Biomedical Imaging, Noninvasive Probing, Ocean Remote Sensing, Instrumentation and Software Design.
